About the artist
Born and raised in India and fashion designer by profession, Shaista has been applying henna to friends and familly since early childhood. She was always artistically inclined and the art of applying henna came naturally to her. Being more than a tradition in India, she was constantly exposed to this art and has perfected her skills and speed by observing other artists.
As a fashion designer, she loves creating traditional and modern indian attire.
Among her other talents, she is an energetic dancer and choreographs shows. She is also known to be an excellent cook and loves to try new recipes all the time.
She resides off the island of Montreal with her husband and daughter, and provides professional henna services for various events.
